Suggest a Leader

One of the best ways a church grows strong leaders is when we notice the gifts God has given each other, and name them.

Through August 31, you can suggest someone you believe would serve well on our Leadership Board or Nominations and Lay Leadership Team, or raise your own hand. Name someone else or yourself; both help. Start with the Suggest a Leader form.

Governance leadership asks for engaged membership and a term commitment, and it begins with discernment rather than a signup. Suggesting a name is not a commitment; it is the start of a conversation. We never add anyone to a slate without their knowledge, so being named simply opens a conversation with our Nominations and Lay Leadership Team.

Names submitted by August 31 shape this year’s slate. The Team discerns through the late summer and early fall, and the congregation elects new leaders at the Church Conference on November 22.
