 31\, you can suggest someone you believe would serve well on our Leadershi
 p Board or Nominations and Lay Leadership Team\, or raise your own hand. N
 ame someone else or yourself\; both help. Start with the Suggest a Leader 
 form.\nGovernance leadership asks for engaged membership and a term commit
 ment\, and it begins with discernment rather than a signup. Suggesting a n
 ame is not a commitment\; it is the start of a conversation. We never add 
 anyone to a slate without their knowledge\, so being named simply opens a 
 conversation with our Nominations and Lay Leadership Team.\nNames submitte
 d by August 31 shape this year’s slate. The Team discerns through the la
 te summer and early fall\, and the congregation elects new leaders at the 
 Church Conference on November 22.\nAll are welcome to help us notice where
  God is already at work. Suggest a leader today.
