In 1739, John Wesley gathered small groups of people who asked each other one honest question: "How is it with your soul?" Those groups became the engine of the entire Methodist movement — not the preaching or the theology, but ordinary people meeting weekly to help each other follow Jesus.
This summer, we're launching Grace Groups — small communities of 6-8 people who gather for one hour each week to grow in faith and watch over each other in love. Each group uses three simple questions: How is your faith journey going? Where do you see God at work? What challenge are you giving to God?
The Summer Pilot runs June 17 through July 22. Each group chooses its own day, time, and meeting place — whatever works for your schedule. No preparation required. No homework. Just an hour of honest conversation with a few people who want to grow.
Whether you've been part of this church for decades or you're still finding your way, Grace Groups offer a place to be known and encouraged. You'll also help us discover what this experience can become at McPherson First.
