Elementary Camp at Camp Horizon

Summer camp is one of those experiences that shapes a young person's faith in ways nothing else quite can. A week away from screens and routines opens the door to genuine friendships, outdoor adventure, and meaningful encounters with God.

Elementary Camp at Camp Horizon runs July 20–24, 2026 and is open to students in 3rd through 8th grade. Camp Horizon offers an action-packed week of swimming, campfire worship, group activities, and Christ-centered teaching designed to meet kids right where they are. It's a place where students grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and have an incredible amount of fun.

The cost is $420 per student, but McPherson First UMC covers $150 of that cost for each camper. You'll receive a checkout code during registration that applies the church's contribution automatically, bringing your family's cost down to $270. Families register directly through Camp Horizon at horizoncenter.org. The church also provides transportation to and from camp, so your student will have a ride with friends from our church family.
