There's a voice that keeps a list of reasons you're the wrong person, too young, too old, too unqualified, too much history. Most of us have learned to wait for it to go quiet before we say yes to anything. Paul never waited. He had fought the church, and near the end of his life he could still write to Timothy, "Christ considered me faithful."
