Luke 15:1-10 (CEB)
Worth Searching For

You know the moment you finish counting and come up one short. The keys that were right there. The name that won't call back across the playground. In Luke 15, Jesus tells two stories about that ache: a shepherd who leaves ninety-nine sheep to find one, and a woman who lights a lamp and sweeps every corner for a single coin.

In week three of The Gospel on Stage and Screen, we pair these parables with the Minions, those small creatures forever searching for someone to follow, and flip the camera to picture a God who does the searching. This is a Communion Sunday, and we gather at an open table set for the found. Bring a question to your Grace Group: who in your life have you written into the ninety-nine column, and what would it look like to light the lamp?

Worship at McPherson First on Sundays at 8:30 AM (hymns and organ) and 10:15 AM (praise team), or online at youtube.com/@mcphersonfirst.
