All-Church Work Day

Fall programming starts in September, and before it does we want every room in this building ready for it. Come spend a Saturday morning with us getting our spaces in order.

Join us for an All-Church Work Day on Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to noon. We will reorganize storage and program spaces, stage the things we are giving away, and set up rooms for the ministries that will fill them this fall. The carpets get a deep cleaning the following week, so we will move furniture ahead of the cleaners while our Tomorrow First HVAC work finishes up.

There is a job here for everyone who comes. Some of the work calls for strong backs. Plenty of it calls for a steady pair of hands, a good eye for sorting, or someone willing to label a box. Bring your kids; there is sorting and hauling they can do. Come for the whole morning or for whatever part of it you have, wear clothes you can work in, and bring a hand truck or dolly if you own one.

Meet at the church office at 9:00 AM. No sign-up required, though a quick note to hello@mcphersonfirst.org helps us plan. When the work is done we will celebrate with pizza at noon. It is a good way to start the season together.
