Every time someone joins this church, they make five promises: prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Over five weeks we take them one at a time, through the big stories of Genesis and Exodus.
We start with presence, and with Noah. God makes a covenant with him before he lifts a hammer, and then Noah spends years building with no rain in sight and neighbors who think he has lost his mind. Most of the Christian life is lived in that key: showing up to the next right thing, trusting a promise you cannot yet see kept.
