Several church members have received fraudulent emails today appearing to be from Pastor Andrew, requesting gift card purchases. These emails are scams and should be deleted immediately.

How to Identify Email Scams:

  • Check the sender's email address carefully - Pastor Andrew uses andrew.conard@mcphersonfirst.org for official church business, never personal Gmail accounts like headleadpastor@gmail.com
  • Be suspicious of urgent requests for gift cards, money transfers, or financial assistance
  • Church staff will never ask you to purchase gift cards and send photos of the codes
  • Legitimate church requests come from official @mcphersonfirst.org email addresses
  • When in doubt, call the church office directly at 620-241-3626 or Pastor Andrew's mobile at 620-503-9884

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Pastor Andrew or any church staff member, please do not respond or click any links. Delete the email and contact the church office if you have concerns. We appreciate your vigilance in protecting our church community from these scams.
