Join Our Faith Community on New Member Sunday

Take your next step in faith by becoming a member of McPherson First UMC. We are a servant church where we experience God's grace, live like Jesus, and participate in God's work with our neighbors.

The Membership Process:

  1. Express Interest - Contact Pastor Andrew to begin your membership journey
  2. Preparation - Click here to learn about membership and review the five membership commitments (Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service, and Witness). Then meet with Pastor Andrew to discuss your questions and share your faith story
  3. Public Welcome - Join the church family during worship on New Member Sunday
  4. Integration - Connect with ministries that match your gifts and passions

Church membership is a formal commitment to grow in faith alongside our community through worship, learning, service, and fellowship. Whether you're new to faith or transferring from another congregation, you'll find your place in the body of Christ here.
