Lunch and Learn: Church Conference Prep

Bring your lunch and join us for Lunch and Learn: Church Conference Prep on Sunday, October 18 at 12:00 PM in the Serve Center. This is the first of two gatherings as we prepare for Church Conference on November 22, and it is your invitation to help shape the year ahead before the Leadership Board finalizes its plans.

Each year our congregation prepares for Church Conference, where we set direction for our shared ministry and elect the leaders who will serve. Over lunch we will walk through the draft directions for the coming year: our Ministry Funding Plan (the budget that funds our mission), staff compensation, and property priorities. We will also preview the proposed leadership slate you will vote on at Church Conference.

Your voice matters in this work. Come with questions, ideas, and honest feedback. The Board finalizes the funding plan at its October 28 meeting, so what you share here genuinely shapes the plans before they are set.

No RSVP needed. Bring your lunch and a willingness to think together about the future of McPherson First. All are welcome, and we will finish in no more than 90 minutes. Watch for a second Lunch and Learn on November 15, when we present the finalized package.
