Lunch and Learn: Church Conference Prep

Bring your lunch and join us for Lunch and Learn: Church Conference Prep on Sunday, October 18 at 12:00 PM in the Serve Center. This is the first of two gatherings as we prepare for Church Conference on November 22.

Our Ministry Funding Plan now runs July through June, so the plan we are living in began July 1 and carries us to next June. Over lunch we will walk through it together: what we committed to, where the money is actually going, and how the year is tracking. This is the plan your giving funds right now, and you should be able to see it plainly.

We will also preview our property priorities, the proposed leadership slate, and 2027 pastoral compensation. The Leadership Board finalizes the slate and pastoral compensation the very next night, at its meeting on Monday, October 19 (the Board convenes a week earlier than usual in October), so your questions today reach the Board while there is still time to act on them. At Church Conference the congregation elects the slate and confirms the pastor's compensation.

And we will look ahead. The Board builds the July 2027 through June 2028 plan in the spring, and it starts with what we hear from you. Come with the ministries you care about, the gaps you notice, and the questions you have been sitting on. That is how the next plan gets shaped.
