On Holy Thursday, we gather around tables just like Jesus did with his friends on the night before he died. This special night—also called Maundy Thursday—marks the moment when Jesus gave his followers a new command: "Love one another as I have loved you."

Join us for Holy Thursday Dinner Church on Thursday, April 2 in Hess Hall. Doors open at 5:45 PM to drop off dishes and find a seat; worship begins at 6:00 PM. This intergenerational worship experience combines a shared potluck meal, storytelling, responsive readings, and Holy Communion at our tables together.

During his last supper, Jesus shared bread and wine with his disciples, asking them to remember him whenever they did the same. He also washed their feet, showing that love means serving others. Our meal together connects us with Christians throughout history who have gathered to remember Jesus' love through both the communion table and acts of service.

What to expect: Round tables mixing all ages, simple prayers and readings everyone can participate in, and communion served at our tables. This is worship designed for the whole family—children, youth, and adults experiencing Holy Week together.

Bring a dish to share if you're able. Bread and juice for communion will be provided.

All ages welcome. No registration required.
