We're excited to announce that Karen Jonas has accepted an expanded full-time position combining her current Director of Children's Ministry role with administrative assistant responsibilities. Karen begins her new duties today, Monday, September 29, working alongside Morgan Farres to ensure everything transitions smoothly.

As you know, Morgan Farres will complete her ministry with us on Wednesday, October 1. Please join us for her come-and-go reception from 1:00-3:00 PM on Wednesday in the Serve Center. Stop by with a card or just to say thanks for all she's done for our church family.

Karen has served as Director of Children's Ministry at McPherson First for six years, and we're thrilled she'll be taking on this expanded role. Her knowledge of the church, desire to serve, and skillset position her perfectly for this opportunity. She'll continue her passion for children's ministry while also helping with the administrative needs of our church. The next three days will give Karen and Morgan time to work together, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a time of change, and we ask for your prayers and patience as everyone adjusts to new routines. Please take a moment to welcome Karen to her new responsibilities when you see her, and don't forget to thank Morgan at Wednesday's reception.
