Do I belong here? It is the question underneath the first day of school, and most of us never fully outgrow it. This Sunday we begin a new series, The Good Life, walking through the Ten Commandments not as a list of restrictions but as the shape of a life worth living.
We start where Israel started, camped at the foot of Sinai, fresh out of slavery. Before God speaks a single command, God recounts the rescue already finished and calls this people treasured. Grace comes first, and the instruction grows out of it. The seat already had their name on it, and it has yours too.
