Senior Sunday: Celebrating Our Graduates

Every year we pause to celebrate the young people who have grown up in our church family. Senior Sunday honors our 2026 high school graduates as they prepare for the next chapter of their journey.

The celebration begins with a reception at 9:30 AM in the Serve Center where the congregation can offer congratulations over cake and punch. Graduates and their families are invited to be present for this time of fellowship and celebration.

During 10:15 AM worship, we'll recognize each graduate with a slideshow introducing them to the congregation, sharing their favorite memories, meaningful scriptures, and future plans. If any graduate wishes to address the congregation, that opportunity is available.

Graduates: Please submit your information and senior photos to Sarah Hendricks at sarah.hendricks@mcphersonfirst.org by April 20, 2026. We need your favorite Bible verse, a church memory, any confirmation memories, an adult who has impacted you, and your post-high school plans.

Scholarship applications are also available through the church office. The McPherson Community Foundation offers an additional scholarship established by a McPherson First member.
