Monthly Leadership Board Meeting

The Leadership Board gathers Monday, November 16 at 6:00 PM in Room 107. Note the date. The board usually meets the fourth Monday, and November’s fourth Monday lands in Thanksgiving week, so this month we meet a week early, on the third Monday.

Our simplified board structure brings together elected leaders who serve as stewards of the congregation’s vision and resources. Month by month the board reviews ministry updates, weighs strategic priorities, tends the church’s finances and property, and makes the decisions that shape what we do together. This work keeps governance visible and tied to our shared calling of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

November brings that work to a point. Church Conference is Sunday, November 22, when the congregation sets direction for the coming year and elects the leaders who will serve. The Lunch and Learn on Sunday, November 15 walks through the finished plan and the leadership slate beforehand. The board meets next on Monday, December 14, also shifted for the holidays.
