The Leadership Board provides faithful oversight of McPherson First UMC's mission, resources, and ministries through monthly governance meetings. This team of elected church leaders guides strategic direction, ensures financial stewardship, and makes decisions that shape how our congregation serves God and community.
February's meeting will include updates on worship participation, financial health, ministry effectiveness, and ongoing initiatives like our Tomorrow First capital campaign. Board members review metrics that measure congregational vitality, discuss emerging opportunities and challenges, and prayerfully discern next steps for our shared mission.
These meetings are open to any congregation member who wants to understand church leadership and stay connected to organizational decisions. Observing offers valuable insight into how your church translates vision into action through careful governance and collaborative discernment.
The meeting begins at 6:00 PM in the Serve Center and typically concludes by 7:30 PM. Congregation members are welcome to attend without registration. Leadership Board members should review distributed materials before the meeting.
