Christmas Eve has a sound to it. A room that goes quiet. A candle passed hand to hand. “Silent Night” sung by people who know every word.

Join us for Candlelight Christmas Eve worship on Thursday, December 24 in the sanctuary. We offer two services, 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM, so families can choose the one that fits the evening. Both run about an hour and include carols, the nativity story from Luke, and a brief message. Each service ends with the candlelighting and “Silent Night.”

Christmas Eve also closes our Advent series, For Such a Time as This, which has followed the unlikely people God called: a prophet, a queen, a servant, a father. The last message, The Most Unlikely King of All, lands where the whole story has been heading, at a manger.

The offering that night goes out the door to McPherson neighbors. Read how the Candlelight Christmas Eve Offering works. You are also welcome earlier in the day for Pray over the Pews, an open prayer time in the sanctuary from 10:00 AM to noon.

All are welcome. Whether you are here every Sunday or have not been inside a church in years, come as you are. Arrive a few minutes early if you want to sit together, and park free in either lot.
