A Meaningful Way to Celebrate Loved Ones

This Christmas season, honor someone special or remember a loved one who has passed with a gift to our Neighbor Assistance (Servant Outreach) ministry. Your donation helps neighbors in our community with essential needs like food, utilities, and emergency assistance.

Poinsettias will decorate our sanctuary during the Christmas season, creating a beautiful reminder of those we love and the hope of Christ's birth. Your gift makes a tangible difference in the lives of neighbors facing difficult times.

How It Works:

  1. Submit your information between November 2 and December 14 using our online form with the name(s) of those you wish to honor or remember, or stop by the church office
  2. Make your donation after submitting the form (suggested amount: $25, though any amount is welcome)
  3. Pick up a recognition card listing those honored and remembered from the Welcome Table on December 21, Christmas Eve December 24, or December 28
  4. Pick up a poinsettia after worship on December 28

Important Dates:

  • November 2: Submissions begin
  • December 14: Deadline to submit to be included in recognition list
  • December 21: Recognition cards available for pickup (Worship and Children's Christmas Program)
  • December 24: Recognition cards available for pickup (Christmas Eve)
  • December 28: Recognition cards and poinsettias available for pickup
  • After December 28: Any remaining poinsettias will be donated, as appropriate

About Neighbor Assistance:

Our Neighbor Assistance (Servant Outreach) ministry provides emergency assistance to individuals and families in McPherson County who are experiencing financial crisis. Your gift helps provide food, utility assistance, rent support, and other essential needs. When you give in honor or memory of someone special, you're extending Christ's love to neighbors who need hope and help.
