Adult Grace Groups

On Wednesday nights in the new year, while your kids are in KidsZone and Youth Group, there is a place for you too. Adult Grace Groups meet 6:00 to 7:00 PM in Room 106, January 6 through April 28.

Start with one night. On January 6 the adults gather in Room 106. We will explain how a Grace Group works, then break into small circles and actually try it. You leave knowing what you would be saying yes to. Nothing to prepare, nothing to sign first.

A Grace Group is a small circle gathering for an hour to be honest about faith and watch over one another in love. Not a Bible study, not a therapy group. Just three questions: How is your faith journey going? Where do you see God at work in your life? What challenge are you giving to God?

From January 13 you are in a group, and that group stays together the whole season. We meet weekly, with four Wednesdays off: February 10 for Ash Wednesday worship at 7:00 PM, and March 17, 24, and 31 across spring break, Holy Week, and the week after Easter.

This hour is part of Wednesday Nights at McPherson First. KidsZone, Middle School Youth Group, and Nursery meet at 6:00, and High School Youth Group at 7:15, so the whole family is in the building the same evening. Nursery is available for babies and toddlers.

Wednesday evening does not work? Tell us anyway. The form asks which days and times you are free, and that is how the next group gets started. All are welcome, and weeks get missed without anyone minding.
