Healthy Congregations

Have you heard of Healthy Congregations? It’s a program funded by our Methodist Conference to make a difference in the lives of our church congregation and community. McPherson First UMC has been blessed to have an active committee. Resources have been used for Intergenerational dinners, to purchase plants and materials for our raised gardens near the playground, and to provide a cookie baking activity for the children of STEP-MC families. Our committee recently met and we’re excited about other opportunities that we hope to sponsor. Be watching for more updates to come in the near future.
