DESCRIPTION:Cool air\, a fire going\, and a marshmallow on the end of a sti
ck. On Wednesday\, November 18\, middle and high school youth head out of
town for the Youth Group Bonfire Party.\nMeet at the church at 7:00 PM and
we’ll carpool together to a church family’s home in the country. We
’ll make s’mores and spend a fall evening around the fire. We’ll be
back at the church by 8:30 PM.\nBring warm clothes. A November night in Ka
nsas turns cold once the sun goes down\, so a coat\, a hat\, and closed-to
e shoes will make the evening a lot better. Snacks will be there\, and so
will the s’mores.\nAny 6th through 12th grader is welcome\, whether you
’ve been at youth group all fall or this is your first time. Bring a fri
end along. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay\, so all you
have to do is get to the church by 7:00.\nQuestions about the evening or
about the carpool? Contact Sarah Hendricks at sarah.hendricks@mcphersonfir
st.org or call the church office at 620-241-3626.
