December fills up fast. The UMW Christmas Tea is an afternoon that asks nothing of you except that you come and sit down.

UMW, a part of United Women in Faith, hosts the annual Christmas Tea on Sunday, December 6 at 1:00 PM in the Serve Center. Tea, food, conversation, and a seasonal program, early enough in December that the rest of the month has not closed in yet.

You do not have to be a member of UMW. You do not have to be a member of the church. If you have been meaning to visit and have not found the right morning, this is an easier door than a Sunday service. Come by yourself and you will not stay by yourself for long.

Bring someone. A friend, a neighbor, a daughter, a granddaughter, the woman down the street who has had a hard year. This is the kind of gathering that is better with one more chair pulled up.

December 6 is the Second Sunday of Advent. Worship that morning is at 8:30 and 10:15 AM, and the Tea follows in the afternoon. All are welcome.
