DESCRIPTION:Do you remember the first Bible that was yours? Your own name i
 nside the cover. A shelf you could reach.\nThis fall our third graders rec
 eive theirs. On Sunday\, October 4\, the children and their parents gather
  at 9:30 AM for a first session together\, and then in the 10:15 worship s
 ervice each child comes forward and unwraps a Bible given by this congrega
 tion. The church makes a promise that morning to help them grow up loving 
 this book and following Jesus.\nClass continues at 9:30 on October 11\, Oc
 tober 25\, and November 1\, with the children reading from the Bible they 
 were just given. Diane Mears leads. A parent or trusted adult stays in the
  room alongside each child\, because this is a practice a family builds to
 gether rather than a class a child attends alone.\nThe season closes Sunda
 y\, November 8\, when we recognize the children in worship.\nThird Grade B
 ible is for children in third grade and their families. To sign a child up
