DESCRIPTION:The Leadership Board gathers Monday\, January 25 at 6:00 PM in
Room 107 for its first meeting of 2027. After the holiday shifts in Novemb
er and December\, the board is back on its usual rhythm: the fourth Monday
of the month.\nOur simplified board structure brings together elected lea
ders who serve as stewards of the congregation’s vision and resources. M
onth by month the board reviews ministry updates\, weighs strategic priori
ties\, tends the church’s finances and property\, and makes the decision
s that shape what we do together. This work keeps governance visible and t
ied to our shared calling of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the tran
sformation of the world.\nJanuary brings new faces to the table. The leade
rs elected at Church Conference in November begin their terms this month.
The evening before the meeting\, on Sunday\, January 24\, our annual stewa
rdship series begins in worship at 8:30 and 10:15 AM.\nAny member is welco
me to sit in on the board meeting. To bring something to the board\, reach
Pastor Andrew at andrew.conard@mcphersonfirst.org or 620-241-3626 before
we meet. Agendas are typically available the week prior. Thank you for pra
ying for these leaders as they begin a new year of work together.
