DESCRIPTION:Summer camp is one of those experiences that shapes a young per
 son's faith in ways nothing else quite can. A week away from screens and r
 outines opens the door to genuine friendships\, outdoor adventure\, and me
 aningful encounters with God.\nMiddle School Camp at Camp Horizon runs Jun
 e 15–19\, 2026 and is open to students in 6th through 8th grade. Camp Ho
 rizon offers an action-packed week of swimming\, campfire worship\, group 
 activities\, and Christ-centered teaching designed to meet middle schooler
 s right where they are. It's a place where students grow spiritually\, bui
 ld lasting friendships\, and have an incredible amount of fun.\nThe cost i
 s $440 per student\, but McPherson First UMC covers $150 of that cost for 
 each camper. You'll receive a checkout code during registration that appli
 es the church's contribution automatically\, bringing your family's cost d
 own to $290. Note that camp prices increase $25 after May 1\, so early reg
 istration is encouraged. Families register directly through Camp Horizon a
 t horizoncenter.org. The church also provides transportation to and from c
 amp\, so your student will have a ride with friends from our church family
