DESCRIPTION:Who invested in you when you were young? A Sunday school teache
 r who knew your name. A youth leader who sat with you after a hard week. A
  church that sent you to camp before anyone asked whether you could afford
  it. On Sunday\, October 11\, McPherson First UMC launches Go and Grow for
  the fall\, our annual giving campaign for the experiences that shape youn
 g faith\, and invites you to be that person for the kids and youth in our 
 church right now.\nHere is how Go and Grow fits alongside everything else 
 your generosity supports. Our Ministry Funding Plan\, carried by your regu
 lar giving\, sustains the week-in and week-out ministry: KidsZone on Wedne
 sday nights\, Middle School and High School Youth Group\, and the people a
 nd space that make ministry happen all year long. Go and Grow goes above a
 nd beyond that. It funds the milestone experiences that live outside the w
 eekly rhythm: summer camp at Camp Horizon\, youth mission trips\, and Yout
 h 2027 in Dallas (July 11 to 14\, 2027)\, the quadrennial youth gathering 
 of the United Methodist Church.\nThese experiences carry a real cost for e
 ach child and youth\, and that is exactly what Go and Grow is for. Your gi
 ft keeps them affordable for every family\, so cost never decides which ch
 ild goes to camp or which youth goes on mission. One campaign\, in place o
 f a year of fundraisers\, lets the whole church family open these doors to
 gether.\nIf it feels familiar\, it is. Go and Grow drew a strong response 
 this spring\, and we have moved it to the fall to build on that momentum a
 nd give our ministries more runway to plan. The spring campaign funded thi
 s past summer. This fall launch funds the summer ahead.\nOctober 11 is als
 o the closing Sunday of our Five Promises sermon series. Week 5 sits with 
 the promise of Gifts\, so the campaign launches inside a series already in
 viting us into the practice of generosity.\nThe campaign runs from October
  11 through November 8. Make your gift during these four weeks\, and know 
 that gifts remain welcome year-round.\nHow to give: Give in worship at 8:3
 0 AM or 10:15 AM\, mail a check to the church office (memo line: Go and Gr
 ow)\, or give online directly to Go and Grow.\nAll are welcome to invest i
 n the next generation. Every gift\, of any size\, takes part in a year of 
 ministry at McPherson First.
