Bowls & Bulbs: Soup Supper & Trolley Rides

McPherson First is heading back out to see the Christmas lights this December, with a bowl of soup first. Bowls & Bulbs gathers the whole church on Wednesday, December 16, for a soup supper and a trolley ride through McPherson’s holiday lights, all in one evening. This is the third year for the event, known as Soup and Trolley Rides in 2024 and Lights and Lasagna last year.

Supper is served in Hess Hall from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The soup comes from the congregation itself, so sign up to bring a pot if you’re able, and come hungry either way.

From Hess Hall, the evening moves to the Serve Center for holiday activities and the trolley. The trolley starts loading at 6:00 PM and pulls out every half hour after that, with the last ride leaving at 8:00 PM. Seats are limited, so reserve your spot on the trolley ahead of time. Dress warm, since the ride runs outdoors.

Bowls & Bulbs is built for every age, from toddlers to grandparents, and there is no cost to take part.
